Common Areas
A spacious great room, the cozy kitchen, and peaceful grounds
The Dining area has an open floor plan adjacent to the Kitchen and Great Room. It shares the wall of floor-to-ceiling windows featuring incredible mountain views. There is plenty of room for a larger group to gather for meals. The wraparound deck has tables for extra seating or enjoying a meal or beverage while watching our stunning sunsets. A piano is available in the Dining Room for those who are musically inclined.
The Great Room features floor-to-ceiling windows, a stone fireplace
and an evaporative cooler for the warmer months. The room features a beautiful staircase to the Library and El Capitan Room. There is an entertainment center with a large, flat-screen Apple TV and plenty of games for young and old. It is warm and cozy with beautiful views and magnificent sunsets! It is the perfect place to relax after a day exploring Yosemite!
Lillaskog has a large, open, well-equipped kitchen. There are 2 refrigerators, 2 ovens and 2 work stations with sinks.
The kitchen has all the pots, pans, dishes and cooking, serving and
eating utensils you need! The cabinets are stocked with wine glasses, coffee mugs and drinking glasses. We have plenty of serving platters and bowls for serving your favorite meals. There is a standard coffeemaker, coffee bean grinder and ground coffee for your coffee needs! Basics such as oil, spices and tea are also provided. All you need to bring is your favorite food and beverages!
Loft
Overlooking the Great Room is a loft with an extensive library with books for everyone, including plenty of children’s books. The loft is also where you will find some toys for the little ones.
Our Grounds
The grounds surrounding the Lodge have two lawn areas. The lower, larger lawn area features the Gazebo with an incredible view as the backdrop. This area is often used for weddings and photo opportunities.
The upper lawn area is a favorite for watching the beautiful sunsets lounging in our Adirondack chairs. There are also 3 BBQ grills for you to use in this area. The large cobblestone area can be set up with tables for outdoor dining for our large groups to enjoy. A wonderful spot for wedding receptions with beautiful views!
Our location also affords Lillaskog a dark night sky and truly spectacular star gazing. The paved drive area and the upper lawn are ideal locations for viewing the stars.
